The classic G-Shorts are a Gramicci original that they have been making since right back in the early 1980s. They're hard-wearing, do-anything shorts made from reassuringly hearty twill cotton. Originally devised for rock climbing, they've got a diamond-shaped crotch gusset for full 180 degree leg reach and an easy-to-adjust integrated nylon belt. These ones here have been pigment dyed. This basically means that the color was added as a pigment after the shorts were sewn together. It's a pretty amazing process that gives really interesting results—lending these shorts a really tasteful, almost worn-in look that'll get even better as you wear 'em.
